Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Systems Administrator (Director Support Technician) on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the Front Office and National GEOINT Operation Center (NOC) Liaison for all UDS IT related issues.
  • Facilitates meetings and engages regularly with customers and members of senior leadership to:
    • Addresses IT related questions or concerns
    • Coordinates and plans emerging customer requirements
    • Provides situational awareness to Front Office stakeholders concerning upcoming maintenance of IT systems or technology refresh efforts associated with systems used by the Front Office and NGOC staff
  • Deploys and sustains end-user devices and associated accessories.
  • Manages hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices.
  • Resolves IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other ISP Contractor Stakeholders when IT issues require Tier 3 escalation or have dependencies external to the UDS contract.
  • Installs application software on end user device workstations via scripted install packages.
  • Inventory management of UDS deployed software and end user devices.
  • Provides user education and training in basic hardware and software functions.
  • Creates and maintains documentation and SOPs to train new employees.
  • Utilization of a ServiceNow based ticketing database to track, updates and closes break/fix incident tickets and in fulfilling new requests via RITMs and Demands.
  • Identifies and executes process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
  • Collocated seating with the Front Office staff, providing quick and immediate access for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
  • Trains end-users in the proper use of hardware and software. May training large groups of end users.
  • May require after-hours support or weekend support for mission, program and special project support.

This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA.

Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of years of experience and education.
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • 3+ years of supporting VIPs

Required Certifications:
  • A+ Certification, N+ Certification, Security + or other DoD 8570.01M certification.
  • ITIL v4 Foundations.

Required Skills:
