Summary
The primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission-critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and LINUX systems. You'll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi-platform environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
• Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage Linux and Windows systems.
• Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
• Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
• Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.

Basic Qualifications

• Comptia Security+ or equivalent DoD/DoW 8570/8140 certification
• Minimum 7+ years of system administration experience
• Strong RedHat Linux and Windows troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and NIST requirements
• Experience configuring LINUX and Windows environments
• An active TS/SCI DoD clearance

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience
• Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning

The salary range for this role is:
$85,500 - $121,275
