Job Details


Under the direction of the Director of IT Infrastructure, the Systems Administrator will provide technical assistance and guidance to build and monitor information technology assets on premise and cloud based. This role will provide administration to maintain and resolve problems associated to servers and systems for the organization. The ideal candidate for this role will be a subject matter expert in server, storage and cloud infrastructure. You will be able to efficiently build, maintain and monitor said infrastructures to allow ExactCare to meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities


  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Install and perform repairs to servers, software, end user devices or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
  • Assist in maintaining the daily performance of server environment
  • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot physical and virtual server infrastructure
  • Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
  • Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
  • Assist with implementing cloud-based assets and solutions
  • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot Windows server environment and related systems
  • Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot network based services: File and Print services, Exchange 2013, O365/Exchange Online, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS.
  • Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot windows server software deployments
  • Configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux server software deployments
  • Provide Tier 3 support for customers and technical staff as needed
  • Assist in the testing of backup and disaster recovery processes and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain written documentation of server, cloud and application environments
  • Maintain the highest level of security practices in accordance with the current industry and corporate standards
  • Other duties as assigned

Education


  • Bachelor6s degree in the field of computer science or related field

Experience


  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Windows server 2012/2016/2019 and CentOS
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services
  • Experience in Exchange 2013, Exchange Online, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare and Active Directory

Skills & Abilities


  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux (CentOS) server operating systems
  • A+, Network+ Certification
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare virtual environments.
  • Experience with SAN and NAS technologies
  • Strong Experience with SCCM
  • Pure Storage experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities and practices.
  • Strong understanding of cloud services environments (Preferably Azure) and how to create solutions base in the cloud
  • Working knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills

Physicals/Mental Demands: This position is administrative in nature and will present physical demands requisite to a position requiring: hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.


Schedule:This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.

This is a remote position.
