Job DescriptionWe are seeking a
Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join a high-performing Agile team operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). This role is designed for a technical leader who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of supporting a broad geographic footprint.
You will be responsible for the daily administration, operations, and maintenance of multiple critical systems. From responding to complex engineering requests to deploying and sustaining new capabilities, you will ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and optimized for peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Oversight: Monitor and optimize a sophisticated ecosystem comprising VMware server hosts, Windows and Linux guest servers, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
- Security & Hardening: Lead the management of Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and system security scanning. You will identify, remediate, and document vulnerabilities in strict accordance with System Security Plans.
- Systems Administration: Maintain virtual server clusters, resolve Active Directory configuration issues, and manage vulnerability patching and system scan findings.
- Strategic Collaboration: Provide high-level technical support to partner workgroups, fostering strong interdepartmental collaboration to meet overlapping program goals.
- Operational Excellence: Utilize enterprise monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve alerts, ensuring minimal disruption to business functions.
- Continuous Improvement: Plan and implement IT enhancements and project-related work to evolve the environment's capabilities.

Required Skills and Education- Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years of Windows administration experience and 7 years of experience in information security management (including governance, risk management, and compliance).
- Technical Proficiency: 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Implementing and managing Windows Active Directory and DNS environments.
- Advanced creation and management of Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Microsoft SCCM.
- Microsoft Exchange administration and Exchange Management Shell.
- Automation Skills: Proficiency in Windows Command Line and advanced PowerShell scripting.
- Security Expertise: A deep understanding of advanced security protocols, information security principles, and hands-on experience with IAVA management.
- Generalist Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux operating systems, VMware, and core networking technologies (switches, routers, LANs).
MDOPS
Preferred Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience documenting and supporting security accreditation and certification activities.
- Expertise in network security technologies, including multi-domain solutions, PKI, and SSPs.
- Experience with data center design and configuration (rack-and-stack, power planning).
- Experience utilizing automation tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
- Previous experience supporting software configuration management and development environments.
