Please review the job details below.The System Verification Manager is a working manager who leads the team responsible for r/ensuring consistent application of established testing practices across all programs and owning the test requirements across all platforms required to verify all aspects of the product (AIT, closed loop test, open loop test, etc.). This role is based in our Palo Alto, CA office. This role focuses on identifying, planning for, and executing verification activities for the highest-risk program elements that could threaten mission success, schedule milestones, and financial performance while ensure low risk verification activities are executed and confirmed as efficiently as possible. This Manager works closely with Program Chief Engineers (PCEs) and the Senior Director of Systems Engineering to directly support program V&V efforts in critical risk areas.
Responsibilities- Lead the team responsible for coordinating cross-program shared test bed infrastructure strategy in collaboration with Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T)
- Lead the team responsible for ensuring each program leverages established testing practices and methodologies wherever possible to drive efficiency and consistency
- Lead the team that provides focused planning and execution for the highest program risk items related to new development
- Identify and prioritize risks threatening mission success, schedule milestones, and financial runway from a verification perspective for each program
- Serve as a working manager by directly supporting program V&V efforts for the highest risk areas as coordinated with PCEs and the Senior Director of Systems Engineering
- Develop and maintain V&V strategies that balance risk mitigation with resource optimization across multiple programs
- Foster collaboration between programs to maximize shared infrastructure utilization and knowledge transfer
- Coordinate with AIT infrastructure groups to champion a united strategy for non-flight deliverable test beds necessary to support cross-program mission requirement verification (FlatSat, Closed Loop Test environment, Dynamic Satellite Simulators, EAGE, etc.)
- Coordinate with PCE to ensure integrated test program is aligned with program approach to requirements buy-off
Required Skills- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
- Minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- Proven experience managing teams
- Experience with verification and validation methodologies, practices, and standards for aerospace systems
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with program management and systems engineering teams
- Ability to support high-risk V&V activities as a working manager
Preferred Qualifications- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with PCEs and senior leadership
- Strong understanding of test infrastructure planning and test bed coordination
- Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks in complex development programs
- Experience with both hardware and simulation-based verification and validation practices
- Experience creating V&V plans to optimize testing across hardware, simulation, and analysis based verification method

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within California is: $163,000.00 - $271,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
