Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented System Validation Engineer to support validation of next-generation electric vehicle Access Control systems. This role will focus on validating Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA Updates, and Passive Entry features across vehicle, mobile application, cloud, and embedded platforms.

The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end feature validation, defect triage, root cause analysis, and test automation activities while ensuring a seamless and secure customer experience. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate features, investigate issues, and support production readiness of vehicle access technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform system-level and vehicle-level validation of Digital Key, NFC, BLE, Diagnostics, OTA, and Passive Entry features.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for customer-facing access control functionality.
  • Lead defect triage, debugging, and root cause analysis across hardware, embedded software, mobile applications, and cloud services.
  • Validate UDS diagnostics services (ISO 14229), DTC behavior, and ECU communication.
  • Analyze NFC, BLE, CAN, CAN-FD, and Ethernet communication logs to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and regression tests using Python and CAPL.
  • Support digital key interoperability testing across Apple, Google, and Samsung mobile ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, mobile, and supplier teams to ensure successful feature delivery and release readiness.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Automotive Validation, Integration Testing, or Development Verification.
  • Strong knowledge of UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229), CAN / CAN-FD Networks
