Market Access & Technology Solutions

ROLE SUMMARY  This principal-level leader manages people and independently leads complex, client-facing revenue management and system integration engagements. The role combines full-suite Model N expertise, deep knowledge in one or more market access domains, disciplined program delivery, IRA experience, and active support of business development and practice growth.

Position Focus
  • Lead and develop a team of functional and technical resources while maintaining accountability for delivery quality, utilization, and client outcomes.
  • Own end-to-end implementations, enhancements, integrations, and transformation programs across the revenue management landscape, with deep experience across the revenue management full suite applications.
  • Provide subject matter leadership in one or more areas: Commercial Contracting, Managed Care, Government Pricing, Medicaid, Technical Architecture/Integration, or Automation.
  • Operate independently as the engagement lead, establishing the delivery structure, governance, communications, and controls required to execute successfully.
  • Help expand the practice through business development support and relationship building techniques.

Core Responsibilities
1. People Leadership & Practice Management
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of resources across functional, technical, and project delivery disciplines.
  • Establish clear expectations, provide actionable feedback, support career development, and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Plan staffing and team charter based on project scope, required capabilities, client needs, and delivery risk.
  • Set and reinforce standards for project management, documentation, testing, quality assurance, and client communication.
  • Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, capability development, reusable assets, and practice operations.
2. Client Engagement & Program Leadership
  • Independently lead complex, multi-workstream client engagements from discovery and planning through design, build, testing, deployment, stabilization, and transition to support.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing delivery leader, building trusted relationships with senior business, technology, finance, and operations stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, resource plans, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate delivery across client teams, software vendors, system integrators, data providers, and other third parties, with clear ownership and escalation paths.
  • Create and execute governance models, status reporting, steering committee materials, communication plans, and change management plans.
  • Maintain accountability for scope, quality, schedule, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
3. Revenue Management
  • Provide functional and technical leadership across the pharmaceutical revenue management ecosystem, including integrations with ERP, data platforms, chargeback, rebate, pricing, membership, and financial systems.
  • Apply hands-on experience to guide solution architecture, configuration, integration, data conversion, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
  • Assess current-state processes and systems, define future-state operating models, and translate business requirements into scalable solution designs.
  • Lead design decisions across master data, transaction flows, calculation logic, interfaces, controls, reporting, and reconciliation.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve data quality, and automate manual activities.
4. Functional & Technical Subject Matter Expertise
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in at least one of the following domains, with the ability to connect business requirements to system and data implications: Commercial Contracting; Managed Care; Government Pricing; Medicaid; technical architecture and integrations; or automation.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams including Market Access, Contract Operations, Government Pricing, Medicaid, Finance, IT, Data, Legal, Compliance, and Quality Assurance.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into practical processes, system requirements, controls, and implementation plans.
  • Guide the development of interfaces, data pipelines, workflow automation, reporting, validation rules, and operational controls.
5. SDLC, Quality & Operational Readiness
  • Apply strong software development life cycle experience across requirements, design, build, unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Define delivery standards and ensure traceability across requirements, configurations, technical specifications, test scenarios, defects, and release decisions.
  • Lead testing strategy, defect governance, data reconciliation, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-production stabilization.
  • Ensure solutions are supported by clear documentation, SOPs, runbooks, training materials, support models, and transition plans.
  • Promote repeatable delivery methods, accelerators, templates, and automation that improve efficiency and reduce implementation risk.
6. IRA & Regulatory Transformation
  • Advise clients on system, data, process, and operational impacts associated with the Inflation Reduction Act, including Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program and Maximum Fair Price implementation considerations.
  • Translate IRA requirements into cross-functional workplans, solution requirements, integration needs, controls, testing strategies, and readiness activities.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and vendors to address dependencies across pricing, contracting, claims, payment, data, reporting, and financial processes.
  • Monitor evolving requirements and help clients assess impacts to operating models, technology roadmaps, and compliance readiness.
7. Business Development & Market Growth
  • Support account and practice leadership in identifying, shaping, and advancing new opportunities.
  • Contribute to or lead RFP responses, solution strategies, statements of work, delivery approaches, staffing models, estimates, pricing inputs, and executive presentations.
  • Participate in client workshops, capabilities presentations, demonstrations, and proposal orals.
  • Help develop market-facing offerings, thought leadership, case studies, reusable assets, and alliance relationships.
  • Identify follow-on opportunities within active engagements and connect client needs to broader practice capabilities.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams and leading complex client-facing engagements independently.
  • Deep revenue management experience and hands-on expertise with the Model N full suite across implementation, enhancement, integration, or transformation programs.
  • Advanced expertise in one or more of the following: Commercial Contracting, Managed Care, Government Pricing, Medicaid, technical architecture/integration, or automation.
  • Proven ability to create and manage project timelines, integrated project plans, governance structures, communication plans, change management plans, and cross-vendor delivery models.
  • Strong SDLC experience, including requirements, design, build, SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and stabilization.
  • Experience addressing Inflation Reduction Act impacts, including operational or technology readiness for MFP-related processes.
  • Executive-level communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting business development through proposals, statements of work, estimates, solutioning, and client presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating Model N with SAP, Oracle, data lakes, data warehouses, claims platforms, chargeback systems, contract platforms, or other revenue management technologies.
  • Experience with data conversion, reconciliation, master data, system controls, and audit-ready documentation.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, change management, Model N, cloud, or related certifications.
  • Experience leading distributed teams and coordinating multiple vendors across time zones.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $138,600.00 - $386,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
