Job Requirements

What You will Do:
• Experience with system integration, automated test systems, and production test equipment.
• Working experience with pneumatic systems and test equipment.
• Experience in aerospace, industrial, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and familiarity with National Instruments hardware (DAQ, cDAQ, PXI, etc.).
• Understanding of data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and signal conditioning.
• Familiarity with Ignition or similar HMI/SCADA environments.
• Experience with SQL databases and working with APIs for data exchange or system integration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and root-cause analysis methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a production environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize and act on task needs without supervision.
• Fluent in English.

How You Will Get Here:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience
• Develop, maintain, and update software for automated test rigs and inspection systems, primarily using LabVIEW.
• Integrate and configure data acquisition hardware, sensors, and instrumentation required for production testing and inspection.
• Troubleshoot software, electrical, and system-level issues on existing production test equipment and implement robust, long-term corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, quality, operations, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate product requirements and test specifications into reliable automated test solutions.
• Design operator-friendly test interfaces, data logging routines, automated reporting features, and test sequencing logic.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to test capability, reliability, cycle time, and system maintainability.
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new and upgraded test systems on the manufacturing floor.
• Create and maintain documentation, including test software descriptions, calibration instructions, configuration notes, and change records.
• Ensure software and system designs follow internal standards, safety requirements, and configuration control practices.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Windsor Locks, CT
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Due to the nature of this role, proof of US Citizenship is required upon hire.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required
