As a key member of our team, you will employ a cross-functional approach, collaborating with design engineering, supply chain, program management, and the obsolescence core team to stay ahead of the curve on end-of-life notifications, component obsolescence, and supply chain disruptions. With a strong foundation in electrical or systems engineering, and a background in technical planning, systems integration, and avionics or electrical system design, you will leverage your expertise to mitigate risks, optimize system performance, and ensure the long-term supportability of our complex aircraft systems. Standard Job Description:
Performs temporary assignments in technical/engineering organizations (e.g., Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering).
Basic Qualifications
3 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering
3 Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical, Systems Engineering or Avionics
3 Knowledge in Electrical Engineering or Components Engineering with emphasis upon Mission Systems Integration
3 Hands-on and/or theoretical knowledge of electronic and avionic hardware, including components and manufacturing processes
3 Familiarity with electronic components, such as microprocessors, memory devices, and interface circuits
3 Knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, signal processing, and communication protocols.
3 Familiarity with military and aerospace systems, including avionics, radar, and communication systems
3 Understanding of system integration, including mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
3 Technical writing skills
3 Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools emphasizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
3 Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
3 Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills
3 Proficient with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
3 Ability to work independently with limited supervision
3 Experience in Systems Engineering disciplines with understanding of the total lifecycle (architecture, requirements, design, analysis, integration, verification, production and sustainment) including the following key competencies: Supplier Interface, Proposal Analysis, Risk and Opportunity Assessment
3 Understanding and strong appreciation for practicing and developing Standard Work processes and tools.
3 Understanding and/or Industry Experience with Relational Databases
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $31.49 - $58.51
The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. 3 For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
