Role and Responsibilities

Our Federal Government client requires a System Developer to plan, build and implement modern applications to comply with growing business requirements based on PowerApps.

The objective of the requirement is to obtain the professional services of a PowerApps Developer (System Developer) for the planning, designing, building and implementation required to deliver the new grants and contributions management system. The System Developer Team will engage with stakeholders to (1) design system iterations, (2) develop system iterations, including creating and administering proof of concept (POC), and (3) conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) cases. In addition, the initial analysis that was completed, mapped out departmental needs and processes-related requirements, informed the department of the viability of the proposed TBS approved platform, Microsoft Power Platform and associated considerations and specifications. Building from this initial analysis that defined how the system should be designed, built and implemented, the System Developer will begin the next phase of the transformation and modernization of the project until completion.
Qualifications and Experience

• MUST be capable to design, develop, test, debug, install, implement, modify and support new applications software, systems software and perform the necessary systems administration to provide a total systems solution in accordance with the Government of Canada standard IT policies and practices
• MUST have at least ten (10) years of experience in system/software development involving complex architectures. This experience MUST include (5) years of experience in PowerApps/Dynamics 365 development and a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components necessary to enable software development processes to evolve through applications development/enhancements
• MUST have at least five (5) years of experience in developing REST API's using Visual Studio and C# that integrate external systems with systems based on PowerApps. The required experience must also include custom development using JavaScript and plugins
