Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a System Administrator!

Must be extremely customer service-oriented while maintaining IT standards and able to communicate very well through all forms of communication. They must be friendly, energetic, organized, responsible, and pay close attention to detail. They must be able to prioritize tasks and multi-task effectively under pressure. They must work effectively in a team and also independently with low supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implement adjustments with as little downtime to the end-user as possible
  • Provide effective and timely management, diagnosis, and resolution of day-to-day problems and support requests faced by onsite and remote employees and corresponding IT support requests ranging from normal technology and application issues to basic network troubleshooting and peripheral replacement
  • Work with vendor support representatives and other IT staff, as appropriate, to determine and resolve technical problems
  • Find and implement solutions to the more common issues as they arise and also train other technicians on how to implement
  • Perform common administration tasks on workstations including updates to operating systems and applications and maintaining workstation security, availability, and performance
  • Maintain and improve the asset inventory including workstations, peripherals and software licenses
  • Assist to purchase and determine workstation hardware and peripheral requirements
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Operating Systems and applications using efficient methods such as scripting and deployment tools to customize workstations according to departmental needs
  • Create and maintain workstation images and imaging processes
  • Prepare and set up desktop and laptop workstations along with peripherals and implement upgrades along with data migration
  • Train users in the proper use of hardware and software which will include documentation and presentations
  • Be prepared and quickly arrange repair for hardware replacement in occasion of hardware failure
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related technical degree/certificate preferred; or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum 4 year of proven systems administration and helpdesk support in Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Experience building workstation hardware standards and deploying operating systems and applications
  • Excellent working skills with Microsoft Office
  • Scripting or light programming
  • Remote Administration
  • Able to evaluate system performance and determine factors for improvement
  • Must be able to describe problems and their solutions to non-IT workers
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain rapport, and work effectively internal employees and with external contacts
  • Strong professional and business judgment with problem-solving, strategic-thinking, and critical-analysis ability; able to make effective decisions and execute an appropriate course of action that complies with IT requirements while supporting business objectives
  • High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications; able to read, comprehend, and follow instructions and communicate promptly and professionally; able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Excellent attention to detail; time management, project management, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of general IT business principles, and best practices; current with relevant trends and applications

Additional Information:

Compensation: Full Time - $80,000 - $120,000 annually
