Overview

 

 

Intrepid Solutions is currently supporting the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) providing IT support services across multiple contract task orders.  This is a growing program with diverse needs providing employees many opportunities for career development and growth.  To continue to excel this program, Intrepid is seeking a System Administrator SME to provide Enterprise administration support.  A qualified System Administrator SME candidate will be able to meet the requirements and perform the duties outlined below:

Responsibilities
  • Maintain Domain Name Service configuration integrated across Windows/Unix. 
  • Maintain/update Active Directory & Exchange environments ensuring stale user and admin accounts are removed in accordance with DoD and NASIC policy/instruction. 
  • Perform file and email message remediation as necessitated by identified security incidents. 
  • Maintain/update clustered Exchange servers for high-availability, to include daily review of system and application logs for the Exchange cluster. 
  • Verify delivery and transit of email inbound/outbound to other SMTP mail servers. 
  • Provide highly-available, fault tolerant file/print cluster services such as drivers, spooler and printer configuration. 
  • Configure/maintain Windows attached storage. 

 

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • This position operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.
  • Position currently requires onsite support.  

 

TRAVEL: Position does not anticipate regular travel.

 

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

 

Active Top Secret/gSCI required upon application for initial consideration. 

 

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

CERTIFICATION(S): 

 

  • Department of Defense (DoD) 8140/8570 
  • Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II (CompTIA Security+) certification.  Required, or able to successfully complete/pass certification within 30 days of application. 
  • Have certifications in Microsoft/MS operating systems (e.g. MTA, MCSA, MCSE). 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Six (6) or more years of experience as a Windows System Administrator; troubleshooting and resolving problems in a complex environment. 
  • Experience with roaming Windows profiles for approximately 350+ personnel. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various scripting languages including Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell, VB Script. 
  • Experience with the following: Windows 7, 8, and 10 desktop operating systems (OS) programs and applications being supported are Exchange 2007/2010/2013 Server, VMWare ESX, SQL server 2005/2008/2012, SharePoint, SCCM, SMS, WSUS, FlexiraAdminStudio, Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Citrix, Windows Terminal Services, Hummingbird, Samba, Quest Vintela Authentication Services, MS Cluster Services, Active Directory, Symantec Antivirus Server, McAfee Antivirus Server, Microsoft Office Suite including Visio, Project. Internet Information Server, Admin Studio, Multimedia Message (M3) client, ESRI ArcGIS, Analyst Notebook, Adobe products, Lotus Notes.
