Full Job Description
Dark Wolf is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an experienced System Administrator. The System Administrator will support the United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Defensive Cyber Operations rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports, designs, maintains and monitors internal and external networks
  • Implementing and managing all systems, applications, security and network configurations
  • Resolving network performance issues and establishes a disaster recovery plan
  • Recommending upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment
  • Work across various environments, such as RHEL, Windows, and cloud platforms, to deploy databases, Identity and Access Management solutions, redundancy, and recovery tools
  • Documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all enterprise efforts to ensure team continuity and consistency
  • Establishing baseline IT operations and develop automation processes to enhance efficiency throughout the system's lifecycle

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and resolve faults and errors in applications
  • Experience with virtualization as it applies to users environments, operating systems, and network appliances
  • Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies
  • Working knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration
  • Working knowledge and current relevant experience with IL4 and above network environments/systems Must be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Compliance with 8570 IAT I Certification
  • US Citizenship and active Top Secret Security Clearance

This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.

The salary for this position is estimated at $80,000.00 - $105,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.
