The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Panama City Beach, FL. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated systems administrator capable of independently managing assigned systems and projects with minimal supervision while working collaboratively with the Cybersecurity team to maintain a secure, compliant, and highly available enterprise environment. 

Responsibilities:

As a Systems Administrator, you are responsible for managing the Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) patch management program, including planning, testing, deployment, validation, documentation, compliance reporting, and lifecycle management.
This position maintains enterprise virtualization, monitoring, logging, and configuration management systems while ensuring the availability, security, and compliance of production environments. 

More About the Role: 
In this role the System Administrator will be responsible for: 
•    Administer the Windows Server and RHEL patch management program, ensuring timely deployment of operating system, security, and third-party software updates
•    Coordinate scheduled maintenance windows with stakeholders and verify successful completion of patch deployments through testing, validation, and reporting
•    Plan, test, deploy, validate, document, and report on server patches while minimizing operational impact
•    Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, configuration management records, and system inventories
•    Administer Microsoft Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
•    Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi virtual infrastructure
•    Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot SolarWinds monitoring solutions
•    Configure and support the SolarWinds Windows Event Forwarder and Kiwi Syslog Server for centralized event and log collection.
•    Working knowledge of Splunk for enterprise log collection, analysis, troubleshooting, and operational support
•    Work with the Cybersecurity team to remediate system vulnerabilities identified through ACAS and other security tools while supporting organizational security compliance initiatives
•    Implement and maintain DISA STIG security baselines for Windows Server and Linux systems as required
•    Administer Active Directory, including Group Policy, user accounts, security groups, and related Microsoft infrastructure services.
•    Monitor system health, performance, and capacity while proactively identifying and resolving issues
•    Perform backup administration, disaster recovery support, and system restoration activities
•    Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages


Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise systems administration experience
• Security+ certification


Desired:

• Experience with Active Directory administration and Group Policy
• Experience with SolarWinds and Splunk for enterprise monitoring, log management, and analysis
• Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages
• Experience with enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with DISA STIGs, RMF, SCAP compliance scanning, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
