Job Description:Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure components to ensure optimal operation.
Perform system administration tasks including software installations, updates, and patch management.Provide technical support to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.Support the implementation of new IT systems, applications, and infrastructure as needed.Document and update IT procedures, configurations, and technical workflows.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Administrator must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support or system administration roles.
- Proficiency in managing Windows, Linux, or other operating systems.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
