The RoleWe are hiring an SVP, Operations to own and scale the core operating engine of Verse.
This person will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for building the systems, teams, metrics, and operating cadence that allow Verse to deliver high-quality, compliant, scalable operations across the business.
We're growing at top decile rates, in a highly operationally complex space. The ideal candidate has scaled complex, high-volume, regulated operations and knows how to use data, process design, automation, product, and engineering partnership to create step-change improvements in throughput, quality, reliability, and unit economics.
What You'll Achieve:- Own and drive all aspects of operations at Verse, including clinician, patient, payor & internal-facing operations.
- Analyze data to identify the key levers to drive impact and translate them into clear, understandable goals across the organization.
- Ensure that all operational elements of Verse click together effectively and clear, repeatable processes exist for all critical functions.
- Identify and improve areas that lack clear processes and/or structure.
- Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to translate operational bottlenecks into high-impact automation and workflow investments.
- Help the company make good tradeoffs between manual process, process redesign, risk stratification, automation, and product investment.
- Reinforce a culture of high standards, clear ownership, and rigorous follow-through.
- Reduce CEO dependency in day-to-day operating execution and ensure critical operational issues are diagnosed and addressed before they become emergencies.
- Strengthen cross-functional execution across Ops, Clinical, RCM, Product, Engineering, CS, Finance, and Compliance.
What You'll Bring:- 10+ years of experience in operations, including proven experience scaling complex, high-volume operations.
- Extremely strong analytical and systems-thinking ability.
- Experience managing managers and building strong operational leadership layers.
- Ability to diagnose operational failure modes quickly and design durable fixes.
- Comfort operating in regulated environments.
- Ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Clinical, Compliance, RCM, CS, and Sales.
- Track record of using data, process design, automation, and workflow tooling to improve throughput and quality.
- Very high standards for talent, execution, communication, and ownership.
Work Environment & Location:- This role is based in our NYC (Chelsea) office. We have a hybrid model, with a requirement of 4 days per week in the office to foster collaboration and innovation.
