The RoleSH/FT is seeking an SVP of Global Technology Services to lead and scale our technology delivery practice across the Adobe and Salesforce ecosystems and web engineering. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, develops processes with clarity, works cross-functionally by default, and is energized by building client relationships. You will own the quality, margin, and strategic direction of our technology services engagements from pre-sale through delivery, while unifying a cross-functional team of architects, engineers, and platform experts into a single, scalable practice.
This is not a role for someone who needs a fully defined playbook. It requires a leader who can move between executive strategy and hands-on execution when it counts, drive cross-functional alignment without formal authority, and bring clarity and momentum to complex, evolving client engagements spanning martech platform configuration to web and email engineering. You'll have real latitude to shape how this practice is structured, staffed, and grown.
What You'll LeadClient Delivery and Technical Strategy
- Own technology services delivery across active engagements, ensuring technical quality, on-time delivery, and alignment to scope
- Serve as a senior technical and strategic advisor to clients, translating complex architecture, engineering, and platform capabilities into clear business outcomes
- Step in directly on client work where needed to protect delivery integrity - particularly on the most complex or highest-stakes engagements
- Provide thought leadership in RFP and RFI responses, ensuring technical feasibility, clarity, and alignment with best practices
- Establish and enforce architectural standards, delivery governance, and quality frameworks across the practice
Practice and Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and retain a team of Directors, senior architects, and engineers across the Adobe and Salesforce ecosystems and web engineering
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous learning
- Set standards and best practices for system integrations and email engineering, including responsive design, rendering compatibility, templating architecture, and deployment workflows
- Identify opportunities for practice innovation, including accelerators, reusable frameworks, and AI and ML enablement
- Partner with Sales and leadership on pipeline development, partnership co-selling, and capability positioning
Cross-Functional Process and Growth
- Drive process and operating rhythm across a matrixed, cross-functional team where formal structure is still being built
- Partner closely with Sales, Alliances, Business Operations, and Delivery Management to ensure seamless handoffs from pre-sale through execution
- Build scalable delivery frameworks, scoping standards, and technical governance models that reduce variability and protect margin across platform and email work
- Identify and close operational gaps before they become client or financial issues
What You BringLeadership and Delivery
- 12 or more years in marketing technology, solution architecture, software engineering, or digital consulting, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record leading delivery across multiple complex engagements simultaneously in a consulting or agency environment
- Highly comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where process must be built alongside execution
- Strong cross-functional influencer who drives alignment without relying on formal authority
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to lead client conversations at the VP and C-Suite level
Technical Expertise
- Deep, hands-on expertise in at least one of the Adobe ecosystem (AEP, AEM, CDP, Marketo, AJO, CJA) or the Salesforce ecosystem (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Account Engage, Agentforce, Sales Cloud), with working fluency across the other-
- Strong background in email development, including HTML/CSS email engineering, responsive design, rendering across clients and devices, ESP integrations, and templating frameworks
- Broad understanding of enterprise data architecture, identity resolution, and customer 360 strategy
- Experience integrating martech platforms with data warehouses, CRMs, CMS platforms, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with AI and ML enablement across marketing and data platforms
