Full Job Description
The Senior Vice President, Finance, Water Solutions & Services (WSS) serves as the primary finance leader and strategic business partner for Xylem's WSS segment. This role is responsible for financial strategy, performance management, capital allocation, and value creation across a global, outcome-based services portfolio with significant recurring revenue, complex contracts, and strong growth ambitions.
The SVP Finance will partner closely with the President, WSS, segment leadership, and enterprise finance to outgrow the market, expand margins, strengthen cash generation, and enable disciplined investment aligned to WSS's strategic pillars.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
• Act as the lead finance business partner to WSS senior leadership, shaping strategy, investment decisions, and long-term financial plans that support sustainable, profitable growth.
• Drive portfolio-level financial insights across outcome-based services, rentals, capital projects, and recurring revenue models.
• Provide leadership on long-range planning, annual operating plans, forecasting, and scenario modeling, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
Performance Management & Value Creation
• Lead financial rigor around pricing discipline, value-based pricing models, and service productivity, particularly in digitally enabled and outcome-based contracts.
• Ensure timely, accurate actuals, forecasting, and variance analysis, with clear executive-level narratives connected to operational drivers.
Capital Allocation, M&A, and Transformation
• Provide financial leadership on capital allocation, evaluating investments across growth initiatives, rental fleets, service networks, and digital capabilities.
• Play a key role in M&A evaluation, financial due diligence, integration, and value capture, aligned to WSS growth priorities and portfolio strategy.
• Sponsor and drive finance transformation initiatives, including process simplification, FP&A modernization, and enhanced analytics capabilities.
Governance, Controls & Compliance
• Ensure strong financial governance, internal controls, and compliance, including adherence to SOX and enterprise financial policies.
• Maintain robust financial reporting systems that provide leadership with clear, decision-ready insights across geographies and business models.
People Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead, attract, and develop a high-performing global finance organization, building strong succession pipelines and future-ready finance capability.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and inclusion, aligned with Xylem leadership behaviors.

Experience
• Proven senior finance executive experience in complex, global, multi-dimensional businesses, ideally with exposure to services, rentals, industrial, or outcome-based revenue models.
• Demonstrated success driving profitable growth, margin expansion, cash flow, and working capital improvement.
• Strong background in strategic finance, FP&A, capital allocation, and M&A.
• Experience operating effectively in a matrixed, global environment.
