About the role - you will:

  • Follow all procedures and protocols.
  • Provide technical support and suggestions to Engineering,
  • Run machines efficiently and effectively.
  • Collect related data on measuring tools,
  • Maintain excellent documentation, and work collaboratively in a team environment to help exceed goals. Monitor real time data from process tools and the take corrective actions for out-of-control situations. Troubleshoot an issue and provide a solution.

Your experience includes:

  • Hands-on experience with process planning and analysis for issue root cause identification, design / process improvement
  • Apply statistical analysis, quality control, using tools such as flow-charting, design and drafting support and document control
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot issues and provide a solution
  • Able to work with global cross functional team members to resolve technical issues and improve efficiency
  • Strong data analytical skills, attention to detail to solve technical and non-technical issues.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering related field (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, Materials, Physics, or Information Technology) and 2+ years of experience or master's degree.


You might also have:

  • Lean Manufacturing, Industrial manufacturing or Six Sigma practices
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles

The estimated base salary range for this position is $87,692.00 - $125,405.00. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible employees, including, but not limited to, , eligibility to participate in discretionary bonus program, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short-and long-term disability, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, health savings account, dependent care, and healthcare spending accounts.
