Position Summary

The Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance Manager helps FOX stay ahead of emerging sustainability and environmental requirements and ensures the company presents a clear, credible compliance story to customers and regulators. Reporting to the Director of Compliance, this hands0on specialist role strengthens FOX0s ability to meet customer expectations, reduces compliance risk, and creates structure and consistency across global teams. The Manager coordinates regulatory tracking, customer ESG responses, and environmental data collection, enabling FOX to operate with transparency and confidence in global markets. This role has no direct reports but leads cross0functional workstreams and influences policy and process decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary coordinator for sustainability and ESG compliance inquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring FOX delivers accurate, consistent, and timely responses that reinforce customer trust.
• Monitor emerging product and packaging environmental regulations and translate them into clear, actionable guidance that helps Engineering, Packaging, and Purchasing prepare early and avoid compliance gaps.
• Lead the consolidation of data from Engineering, Packaging, Purchasing, EHS, Operations, and Sales to produce unified, defensible responses to customer sustainability questionnaires, supplier scorecards, and third0party assessments.
• Maintain FOX0s official sustainability and compliance statements, declarations, and supporting documentation so customer0facing teams have reliable, pre0approved materials that strengthen FOX0s credibility.
• Build and maintain organized systems 0 SOPs, trackers, knowledge bases 0 that streamline intake, routing, review, and approval of compliance requests, improving turnaround time and reducing operational friction.
• Coordinate environmental data collection (Scope 1 3 emissions, energy, water, waste, recycled content) to support customer reporting and FOX0s sustainability platforms, improving data quality and transparency.
• Support sustainability0related certifications and collaborate with site EHS teams where customer expectations intersect with environmental compliance.
• Equip Sales and regional teams with clear compliance talking points and readiness updates; participate in customer discussions when needed to reinforce FOX0s compliance posture.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and peer practices; recommend priorities and resourcing needs to the Director of Compliance.
• Provide regular updates on request volume, turnaround times, risks, and regulatory changes to support informed decision0making across Compliance leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• Familiarity and/or direct experience with product and packaging environmental regulations (e.g., PPWR, Digital Product Passport, Battery Regulation, REACH/RoHS, PFAS, CBAM) and the ability to translate them into practical business requirements.
• Working knowledge of GHG accounting (Scope 1 3) and environmental data management.
• Experience responding to customer ESG questionnaires or compliance audits within a manufacturing supply chain.
• Strong organizational and program management skills; able to build trackers, SOPs, and documentation systems from the ground up.
• Excellent written communication skills for drafting clear, accurate statements and technical declarations.
• Ability to work cross0functionally and influence without direct authority across Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, EHS, and international teams.
• High attention to detail, especially with quantitative environmental data.
• Proficiency in Excel and data tools; experience with sustainability, compliance, or GHG software platforms is a plus.
• Mandarin language ability is a plus due to coordination with FOX0s Taiwan0based teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor0s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or product regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with EU product/packaging regulations and customer ESG reporting preferred.
• Experience in bicycle, powersports, automotive, or similar industries is a plus.
• Work Environment
• Hybrid office role with occasional travel (up to ~20%) to FOX sites, suppliers, and customers. Some time on manufacturing floors may require PPE.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
