About the Role:

We have a current opening for a Sustainability Environmental and Energy Specialist and are actively reviewing applications.

Help support Industrial Sustainability Environmental and Energy (ISEE) manager in ensuring all facility environmental compliance guidelines. Help manage, coordinate and implement energy and environmental management systems. Successful candidate should have a knowledge of environmental compliance and management and/or energy management systems, and be interested or have a degree in engineering, sustainability, energy, or science.
The role will be in direct ownership of the local compliance obligations that support the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and will support implementation of the ISO 50001 Energy Management System. Collaboration with support groups and operations to improve awareness and compliance will be a core role of the function, as will developing and coordinating energy, thermal, or water/waste reduction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Support daily awareness and compliance related activities within the plant for both Ferrero employees and for external consultants
• Internal coordination and management of plant waste
• Collecting, monitoring and expanding on environmental performances-related indicators (of the plant)
• Developing or Coordinating sustainable reduction projects
• Gathering documentation and organizing environmental and energy audits
• Support the implementation and management of the Environmental and Energy Management Systems (ISO 14001 and 50001)

About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Biology, Energy, Science or related field required
• 1-3 years' working in an industrial environment
• Experience in environmental compliance and sustainability
• Technical knowledge or experience with energy systems such as boilers, hot water heaters, lighting, etc is a plus

The base compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 - $89,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
