Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience, with prior crew chief experience preferred
• Proficient in operating total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and tablet PCs
• Experience with Trimble equipment preferred
• Part 107 licensure or ability to obtain it
• Strong computer and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to work in all-weather climates, with physical ability to walk long distances and carry heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a land survey crew
• Develop efficient plans for data acquisition
• Document work performed and create necessary sketches
• Communicate daily with project surveyor and technician
• Interact professionally with clients and landowners
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Prepare daily reports and maintain surveying equipment
