Qualifications
Candidate shall have a minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in this industry. A minimum of 1 year management experience supervising the work of subordinate staff.
Candidate for this position must demonstrate independent thought and decision-making abilities, possess management and supervisory skills, and be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients and public agency personnel and in-house staff.
Candidate's managerial experience shall also include the following:
Assisting in the development of construction bid documents and contracts, management of construction projects, field coordination, management of project schedules/budgets, coordination of design staff, preparation of contracts, development of fee proposals/scopes of work, and experience in client/public-agency interactions.
Candidate's technical experience must include the following:
The ability to prepare construction staking calculations using Autocad Civil 3D.
The ability to perform detailed take-offs, develop construction cost estimates, understand concepts and principals used in the development of the design, ability to understand construction phase sequencing strategies, identify critical site constraints and potential regulatory issues. Assist in the processing of improvement plans (private and public), perform constructability reviews, familiar with construction practices, equipment and capability, uphold the highest standards of job site safety, and have experience in grading and utility construction support services.
Candidate most have working knowledge of construction staking and be able to read civil plans, architectural plans and structural plans and provide technical direction to field crews.
Must have valid driver's license, be able and willing to drive to job sites, spend substantial time in the field, and work in job site offices as needed.
Knowledge of jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures in Riverside area is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCad/Civil 3D, Blue Beam Microsoft Office and Trimble Business Center.
