Full Job Description
The Project Director's core responsibility is to lead and oversee cross-functional project teams managing Surveillance. This role ensures all assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations and company standards.

The Project Director's core responsibility is to lead and oversee cross-functional project teams managing Surveillance. This role ensures all assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

General:
  • Lead cross-functional project teams through task assignment and follow-up to ensure on-time completion.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, estimations, specifications, flowcharts, and presentations.
  • Maintain, build/edit, and follow internal budget guidelines.
  • Lead multiple project assignments including project tracking, issue resolution, time gathering and reporting, and communication of project progress.
  • Lead effective project kickoffs, identification of all project stakeholders, while defining and clarifying project roles and responsibilities.
  • Work with all stakeholders to identify and confirm necessary resources.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and communicate the status of projects in both formal and informal settings.
  • Communicate project status throughout the project lifecycle to all team members.
  • Onboard and manage all subcontractors.
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to team members and clients.
  • Identify and resolve issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverables.
  • Seek innovative ways to remove project obstacles.
  • Provide continuous improvement through re-engineering of processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Perform work independently with little or no direct supervision.
  • Accurately manage project accounting and reporting.
  • Prepare project closeout and documentation thoroughly.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction with each assigned project.

Qualifications Required:
  • 10+ years of experience with a proven process to improve efficiency and quality.
  • 10+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and supporting tools, including hands-on and leadership experience.
  • Qualifications & certificates in project management & electrical field and/or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Experience in leading, managing, and directing project teams on project deliverables within client budget guidelines (Fixed or Variable).
  • Experience developing and creating project plans that display project milestones.
  • Ability to lead, or facilitate best practices, workflows, and tools usage.
  • Advanced knowledge/experience with Microsoft Professional Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Fieldwire and other related tools.
  • Valid Driver's License & willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable in general construction and safety practices.

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.

Travel/Time Commitment:

Travel by airplane, automobile, etc., may be required on an as-needed basis, at the sole discretion of the Company, on behalf of itself and any affiliated companies, parties, etc., it may represent.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands and fingers to handle or feel, talk, or hear. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
