Full Job Description
Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is currently recruiting a Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon/Medical Director for our surgicalist program in Conyers Georgia.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate to help build a surgical/clinical practice.The surgicalist team at Piedmont Rockdale consist of a group of top clinicians including physicians and advanced provider practitioners.We are seeking a strong and committed physician to provide our patients the excellent quality of care that is customary in all of the Piedmont facilities across the state of Georgia.

The ideal candidate will be board certified with a minimum of three years of experience. Trauma and Critical Care expertise is important . Candidates must possess the skill set to perform routine emergency general surgery procedures as well as acute care surgery.

Piedmont Rockdale is a cornerstone of wellness as the only acute-care facility in Rockdale County. As a 161-bed facility, Piedmont Rockdale offers 24-hour emergency services, including critical care, obstetrics, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and interventional cardiology on site. In addition to traditional medical and surgical services, subspecialized care with advanced cardiac, gastroenterology, colorectal surgery, orthopedic, urology, and medical oncology services are on campus. As a not-for-profit organization, hospital earnings go directly back into maintaining and improving services and facilities, and to educational outreach.
