Must-Have:
DaVinci Robot experience
Ortho/general experience

Description:
The operating room consists of 8 suites.
Approximately 15 cases are processed per day.
The staff-to-patient ratio is 1 to 1.
Electronic medical records are managed using Cerner.
Charge nurses and team leads are present in the unit.
Weekend call is required.
24-hour call availability is preferred, typically from 7 PM to 7 AM, with variability based on needs.
Weekday call is also required from 11 PM to 7 AM, again with variability based on needs.
Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes.
Holiday work may be required as needed.
Scrubs will be provided.
There is no IV team present.
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7.
Pharmacy services are also available 24/7.
Staff will not float unless they have GI lab experience.
Floor-specific orientation typically consists of 2 shifts on average.
Common types of surgeries include general, orthopedic (total joints), podiatry, urology, gynecology, vascular, spine, and plastics.
Travel experience is preferred, and flexibility with scheduling is essential.
This is a union environment, and permanent staff members are generally friendly.
