Surgical Oncologist

Position Responsibilities

Mount Sinai Medical Center, a premier independent, not-for-profit academic medical center located in the heart of Miami Beach, is actively seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary cancer care team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established and growing oncology program within a Commission on Cancer Accredited institution, offering access to cutting-edge care, clinical trials, and a highly collaborative practice environment.
  • Join a team of fellowship-trained specialty surgeons and advanced practice providers
  • Opportunities for clinical research and teaching within our ACGME-accredited General Surgery Residency Program
  • Minimal call responsibilities and a strong support infrastructure
  • Interest and experience in managing one or more of the following conditions:
    • Breast Cancer
    • Melanoma
    • Head and Neck malignancy
    • Sarcoma


Multidisciplinary Cancer Care:
  • Dedicated radiologists, pathologists, geneticists, medical and radiation oncologists, and other subspecialty surgeons
  • Nurse navigators guiding patients through diagnosis and treatment
  • High-risk breast clinic and survivorship programs
  • Palliative care services, dietitians, social workers, PT/OT for lymphedema, and financial counselors
  • Weekly multidisciplinary Tumor Boards
  • Epic EMR for seamless communication across departments
  • Academic Environment with teaching and mentorship opportunities
