Surgery Center Administrator - Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Leadership

Salary: $130,000 - $180,000

Overview

Seeking an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee the administration, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth of a surgical facility. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence while maintaining strong physician relationships and delivering exceptional patient care outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital surgical services leadership experience with direct exposure to ASC operations.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead daily facility operations, including administrative, clinical support, and business functions
  • Partner with physicians, medical staff, leadership teams, and governing boards to ensure effective operations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and patient safety standards
  • Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
  • Monitor financial performance and identify operational risks and improvement opportunities
  • Oversee workforce planning, staffing, employee performance, and team development
  • Support physician recruitment, engagement, credentialing, and relationship management
  • Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts
  • Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient experience initiatives
  • Participate in operational reviews and performance reporting
  • Identify opportunities for service line growth and operational efficiency
