About the Opportunity

We are looking to hire a Surface Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at the Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON, on a full-time basis. The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hr shifts, dayshift only.

Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based position.

In this position, you will safely and efficiently perform maintenance activities to preserve the condition of the mobile heavy equipment fleet: troubleshooting, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, inspecting, repairing, component replacement & rebuild, welding, fabrication and low voltage electrical repairs of heavy equipment.

More About You

To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of related mining experience in a hard-rock underground environment or industry-related experience.

The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:

• Practice good housekeeping
• Be committed to safety
• Red Seal Mechanical Certification
• Five (5) years' experience in an industrial setting
• Experience in a mining environment and welding certification are considered assets
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core

About the Benefits

In return for your hard work and dedication you can expect to receive a salary range of $31.15-$51.75/hr, based on qualifications and experience. As well as the following benefits:
