Full Job Description
Job Summary
Provide direction and supervision of I and C technicians. Direct and coordinate maintenance activities on instrumentation systems. Provide support and interface with other departments. Schedule and coordinate work load for I and C technicians and perform administrative duties. Analyze and prepare responses to station deviations, commitments and audits. Develop departmental procedures for systems, review and approve procedures/procedure changes.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
5+ years of relevant supervisory experience (with preferred Bachelor's degree);
In lieu of preferred related Bachelor's degree, may substitute related Associate's degree and 7+ years of directly related supervisory experience, or High School diploma/GED and 9+ years of directly related supervisory experience that demonstrates knowledge of relevant fundamental theories, principles and concepts;
Requires completion of the Instrument Technician Development Program or equivalent training and development.
Shall have 4 years experience in craft or discipline to be supervised.
Experience must include power plant experience of at least 2 years, nuclear power plant experience to include 1 year, and on-site experience to include .25 yr.
Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
Perferred Discipline: Technical Studies
Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred disciplines(s) listed above.
Licenses, Certifications, or Quals Description
ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014, Section 4.4.7
Education requirements: High School diploma.
Minimum experience for the position: Related experience which shall include 3 yrs.,
Power plant experience which shall include 2 yrs., Nuclear power plant experience to include 1 yr.,
On-site experience to include .25 yr.
