Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers and manufacturers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Requirements

  • Participate in daily escalation meetings and present shipping plans for the most critical part numbers to avoid production line impact.
  • Collaborating with several internal departments to understand recovery plans, allocation improvement opportunities, global inventory options, alternative part options, distribution stock and all other avenues to avoid supply chain disruption.
  • Manage kitting activities (BOM verification, component allocation, staging, and quality checks) to ensure complete, accurate, and timely kit builds.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root-cause analysis of variances, adjustments per policy, and correct/preventative actions.
  • Properly escalate concerns to TE leadership to identify solutions
  • Track past due order recovery and identify areas where the plan is off track
  • Identifying customer forecast accuracy improvement opportunities and collaborating with the Program Managers to improve forecast visibility
  • Gather and present long-term recovery actions for critical parts
  • Communicate lead time changes and track root causes to ensure TE is aligned with their customers
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and improve communication

  • Lead, coach, and structure a team that includes shipping and receiving, buyers and stockroom; assign daily work and set clear expectations
  • Provide real-time feedback, conduct performance check-ins, and support professional development and engagement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


What your background should look like

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Data Analytics, or related
  • 3+ years of experience in demand management, customer service, or material planning environment
  • Knowledge of TE Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes
  • Comfortability interacting with vendors and several internal departments
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$77,000- $115,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
