Job Description:

• Performs effectively in all procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a diagnostic or therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals scope of practice.
• Plans, develops, and coordinates department activities to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
• Supports and enforces policy and procedure, ensuring safety for self, staff, physicians, and patients.
• Manages time and equipment effectively, working as a team member to provide the best possible care to patients.
• Practices universal body substance isolation and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies.
• Delivers quality diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional patient care services consistently.
• Supports and assists with data collection for process improvement, understanding department performance trends and established standards.
• Communicates and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintains confidentiality of employees, patients, administration, and medical staff information.
• Assists leadership in meeting department budgetary goals and creating budget plans.
• Ensures appropriate daily and on-call staffing, managing lab labor expenses in accordance with department budget.
• Exhibits a desire to learn and upgrade clinical and leadership skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
