We are looking for a Support Engineer for our Pulp and Water division in Riegelwood, North Carolina!
What You'll Do:- The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
- Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
- Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
- Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring; Delivers chemical and compiles trial data at the customer site
- Alerts the site manager of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
- Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
- Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
- Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
- In this position the employee will be trained to conduct lab testing, repair and install chemical feed equipment, input numbers into excel, inventory control, chemical transfers, and maintain a positive customer (mill personnel) relationship.
What You'll Bring:- Bachelor's Degree (Science or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree
- Solving complex and non-routine technical problems
- Strong relationship management skills
- Industry and customer literate, or ability to pick up industry and Solenis technologies quickly
- Drive for results; proactively addresses complex issues
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical
- Must have a Valid Driver's License and Clean Motor Vehicle Record

The expected compensation range for this position is between $70,250.00 and $103,026.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
