Position Description & QualificationsExciting opportunity for a Supply Support Readiness Review (SSRR) Administrative Manager to provide New Construction Submarine building and acquisition support to the US Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to join our team and help provide the US Navy with cutting edge undersea warfare technology.
In this role, you will:- Be responsible for meeting minutes and official report, this includes managing Stakeholder presentations, agenda and special interest topics, stakeholder requisition management, COSAL Maintenance Action (CMA) Working Group logs, VACL Provisioning Working Group actions and other administrative tasks.
- Be the Stowage Team's primary assistant.
- Manage all GFE stowage changes for current submarine construction hulls.
- Draft and route stowage change letters, maintain stowage files and logs.
- Change verification is required and access to numerous NAVSUP site is required.
- Supply Chain and Expediting work is required for this position, this requires constant contact with NAVSUP and DLA representatives along with an active NAVSUP One Touch account for status processing.
To be successful in this role, you will have:- An active Secret security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field such as finance or economics.
- In lieu of degree, 6 additional years of related experience may be substituted
- 8 years of related experience.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Microsoft skills are essential, especially EXCEL and PowerPoint.
- The ability to work both in a team environment and independently, and often under short, multiple deadlines.
- Strong time management skills
- Proven excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask effectively

Additional Desired Skills and Experience: - Knowledge of DoD policies, NAVSEASYSCOM/Team Submarine policies and procedures.
- Active Duty Experience in the submarine service
- Active Duty Experience as a senior enlisted logistics specialist
- Recent experience in Team Submarine
- 5 or more years of experience with Navy acquisition and Submarine Programs.
- Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
- Knowledge of Program Management, including the acquisition process, the budgeting process and Navy program execution.
- Experience with Naval Supply System and logistics procedures, along with submarine experience is helpful in this role.
- 10 years leading, managing, or overseeing multiple departments with an emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
