Full Job Description
Job Summary:

Responsible to lead the Supply Planning step of SIOP for APT Treatment sites in US. Using the unconstrained Demand Plan the Supply Planner is to develop an associated Supply Plan as well as identifying and analyse potential supply constraints (e.g. machine capacity, labour, external suppliers, contracted manufacturers, etc.) and their impact on operational KPIs and financial performance. The monthly goal is to deliver an accurate and cross-functionally aligned 18 month rolling supply plan including manufacturing output (i.e. COGS & standard hours) and resulting changes in Inventory / Backlog plans. A key responsibility is also to lead, support and develop the local team of direct reports.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Supply Planning process for the assigned sites.
  • Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling Supply (i.e. COGS & Standard hours) and resulting Inventory / Backlog plan for assigned sites.
  • Facilitate communication between demand and supply planning as a single point of contact on supply side.
  • Represent the Supply Planning function in the site-level SIOP process.
  • Develop, document, update and challenge the assumptions supporting the supply plan.
  • Identify future constrains on critical resources (i.e. labour, materials, machines, etc.) based on demonstrated output levels.
  • Facilitate demand & supply gap impact analysis on service, cost, inventory and P&L with Production, External Supply Planning, Inventory Management and Finance and propose gap mitigation alternatives.
  • Manage supply planning performance, such as planning accuracy and target lead time adherence, analysing root-cause of discrepancy and incorporate countermeasures to improve supply planning process.
  • Provide summary of sensitivities, vulnerabilities, opportunities to relevant KPIs.
  • Ensures consistency with XPS standards for Supply Planning across assigned sites.
  • Build inventory outlook and drive inventory actions to meet budgeted targets for assigned sites.
  • Support and collaborate in product phase in/out giving input from a supply planning perspective.
  • Upload of supply plan to system/ERP, including maintenance of supply planning parameters (e.g. schedules or planning bills).


Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide process capability and expert support to improve supply planning process & SIOP.
  • Manage and improve tools and data of supply planning.
  • Support Production and SIOP with various supply topics.
