Full Job Description
Your Contribution

The Supply Planning Lead is responsible for leading supply planning activities across BU3 North America, ensuring optimal product availability, inventory performance, and supply continuity. The role oversees approximately $65 million in annual purchasing volume while leading a team of material and production planners. Through effective supplier management, production planning, and S&OP participation, this position drives customer service performance, working capital optimization, and operational excellence across the North American supply chain network.

This role is responsible to:
  • Maximize product availability and customer service level (CSL1) by ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in the requested quantity and within the requested delivery timeframe.
  • Manage and optimize inventory levels for BU3 North America product lines, including Filters, Thermal, and Gaskets, with inventory responsibility of approximately $40 million, balancing service, working capital, and inventory health objectives.
  • Lead, and develop Materials Planners and Production Planners, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Plan and coordinate the supply of components and finished goods from internal and external suppliers to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
  • Develop and execute production and assembly plans to maximize fill rates for sets and kits while maintaining operational efficiency and inventory targets.
  • Support the S&OP process by providing supply planning data, inventory analysis, and capacity assessments.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, manage supplier backlogs, and lead escalation processes to mitigate supply risks and maintain continuity of supply.
  • Ensure compliance with operational purchasing, production planning, and demand planning processes utilizing SAP tools and systems, including SAP MM, SAP PP, GIB, and related planning platforms.
  • Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation plans related to supplier constraints, demand fluctuations, inventory imbalances, and capacity limitations.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Purchasing, Warehouse Operations, Product Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, Controlling, and HR to ensure alignment of business priorities and supply chain objectives.
  • Support strategic initiatives and process improvements that enhance supply chain efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.


Your Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in materials planning, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or aftermarket environment is preferred.
  • Experience managing high-SKU-count (+30K) supply chains preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP MM, PP, and related planning modules.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and planning tools.
  • Experience with supply chain planning systems, forecasting tools, and inventory optimization methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven decisions.
