Supply Excellence Manager (Total Productive Maintenance)

The Supply Excellence Manager is a critical member of the site leadership team accountable for the overall implementation and success of Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) (Total Productive Maintenance).

What are we looking for?

Minimum:

  • 5 years' TPM experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in implementation of TPM programs, preferably during the initial implementation phases
  • Proven track record in managing teams and driving operational excellence
  • Proven experience as a coach/trainer/mentor. Ability to manage stakeholders and influence without authority
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to set priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of improvement tools as SIXSIGMA, Kaizen, 5S, DMAIC
  • Proven experience in spearheading transformative initiatives and successfully implementing best practice rollouts
  • Eager to analyze and inspired by maximizing value
  • Process and detail oriented with a "hands-on" approach

Preferred:

  • Manufacturing experience within CPG Industry
  • Bachelor's degree


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Active member of the Site Leadership Team guiding and supporting the overall site strategy
  • Leading transformative change within the factory through MSE (TPM)
  • Optimize performance and drive value leadership
  • Initiate and drive game-changing workstreams to optimize our cost-to-serve for our customers and support Mars to become a more efficient, agile and lean company
  • Development of our local supply strategies in close collaboration with a vast stakeholder network
  • Ensures Root Cause Analysis and insight generation
  • Drive business change - Business change management, Program development & design
  • Partnering with the site leadership team to develop the overall implementation strategy for MSE, then driving accountability to this strategy
  • Building capability of all pillar leaders enabling them to build team member capability
  • Maturing all pillars in a phased progression in accordance with the site and regional strategy
  • Coordinating with the Regional MSE team for support
