Siemens Fort Worth is seeking a
Supply Chain Lead with a strong focus on
Demand Planning, Assembly & Production Planning, and SIOP execution. This role is critical to translating customer demand and forecasts into executable production and material plans that support on-time delivery, optimized inventory, and operational excellence.

forecasting, cross-functional alignment, and manufacturing execution. You will play a key role in aligning demand, operations capacity, and supplier readiness through effective planning processes.
You will make an impact by:Demand Planning & Forecasting - Own and continuously improve demand planning processes to translate sales forecasts and customer signals into actionable supply and production plans.
- Analyze historical demand, forecast accuracy, and market trends to improve forecast quality and reduce variability.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and Operations to align demand assumptions and planning horizons.
- Lead forecast reviews, identify gaps or risks, and proactively recommend mitigation actions.
Assembly & Production Planning - Drive assembly and production planning activities to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory targets.
- Convert demand plans into feasible manufacturing schedules using MRP (SAP), balancing service, cost, and capacity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to support new product introductions, engineering changes, and ramp-ups.
- Optimize bill-of-material alignment, lead times, and lot-sizing strategies to support assembly efficiency.
SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) - Lead or actively contribute to the SIOP process, ensuring strong alignment between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Prepare and present demand, supply, and inventory scenarios with clear trade-offs and recommendations.
- Ensure execution of agreed SIOP plans and track performance against service, inventory, and cost targets.
- Identify constraints and risks across the supply chain and drive cross-functional resolution.
Material Planning & Inventory Optimization - Oversee material planning strategies to ensure timely availability of components while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Analyze demand signals, MRP outputs, and inventory positions to drive optimal safety stock and replenishment strategies.
- Partner with logistics and warehouse teams to improve inventory visibility and turnover.
Purchasing-to-Pay (P2P) Process Alignment - Ensure purchasing activities are aligned to demand, production, and inventory plans.
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process-from requisition through payment-ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Promote disciplined execution of planning outputs through purchasing and supplier collaboration.
Supplier & Capacity Collaboration - Collaborate with strategic suppliers to align demand forecasts, capacity requirements, and lead times.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage risks related to capacity, delivery, or quality.
- Support negotiations by providing data-backed demand projections and planning insights.
- Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turns, and schedule adherence.
- Develop and deliver clear, actionable reports and dashboards for leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen planning maturity, reduce volatility, and improve execution.
Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure planning and purchasing processes comply with Siemens policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify demand and supply risks early and develop mitigation strategies to protect customer commitments.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree
- 5-7 years of supply chain experience with MRP (SAP) system in manufacturing environment
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office
- excellent Analytical skills, data collection and analysis tools
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, customers and suppliers
- Negotiation skills
- Preferred Skills:
- APICS CSCP and/or CPIM
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
