Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, recruit, and evaluate planning department personnel.
  • Develop and monitor planning metrics (KPIs) and execute actions to close performance gaps.
  • Perform capacity analysis, manage load meetings, and conduct periodic billing projections.
  • Analyze demand trends, set inventory strategies, and manage inventory control including safety stock levels.
  • Oversee supply chain flows by coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers, and handling customer escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with planning practices and quality system requirements.
  • Participate in daily supply chain meetings and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train and recruit the planning department personnel.
  • Develop and prepare the planning metrics (KPI's : Key Performance Indicators) along with the respective actions to close gaps in the KPI's.
  • Evaluate the planning personnel in a periodic basis aligned with the current TE Strategy.
  • Perform/Lead the capacity analysis (CRP)/ load meeting in monthly basis (IBP).
  • Perform Constrains Billing by quarter, make the supply review presentation.
  • Perform demand analysis to identify changes, analyze trends, set inventory strategies MTS, safety stocks.
  • Attend customer escalation by e-mail.
  • Manage Planning practices, communication tools & guarantees compliance according to the quality system requirements.
  • Perform the monthly & quarterly Billing projection.
  • Assure an adequate and balanced workload for the planning team.
  • Participate in daily basis in SC Tier 2/Go Meeting & Tier meetings.
  • Participate CI projects to help the site be more productive.


What your background should look like:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of SAP and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of TE Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with SAP, MS Office (Excel, Power Point, and Word), and Business. Objects reporting platform.
  • Comfortability interacting with several internal departments.
  • Self-Starter, Independent working, problem solver, Analytical, Collaborative, Innovative, Results driven.
  • Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Communicates effectively at all levels within the organizations, both orally and in writing.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $79,200 - 118,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
