Work You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the GPS Enterprise Performance-Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for:
  • Analyzing logistics and maintenance operations, business processes, and system landscapes to identify gaps, dependencies, reconciliation issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Gathering and documenting business, operational, and technical requirements and translating ambiguous needs into process, data, and integration designs
  • Designing logical data models, source-to-target mappings, data-quality rules, and reconciliation frameworks to support integrated operational reporting and decision-making
  • Developing, integrating, testing, and supporting machine-learning and analytics solutions using Python, SQL, and enterprise, cloud, or big-data environments
  • Building or overseeing data pipelines, transformations, dashboards, and analytical products that improve operational visibility and technology-enabled outcomes
  • Leading workstreams and delivering project artifacts while collaborating across Deloitte and client teams to support delivery, solution development, and coaching of junior practitioners

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a combination of supply chain, logistics, data analytics and data engineering
  • 2+ years experience in logistics and maintenance processes, systems, and data in complex enterprise or asset-intensive environments
  • 2+ years experience in developing or integrating technical solutions using Python and SQL in enterprise, cloud, or big-data environments
  • Ability to travel 0-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting federal, state, or local government clients
  • Experience with source-to-target mapping, data-quality rules, lineage, and exception handling across integrated data environments
  • Experience building data pipelines, transformations, or analytical products in cloud-based or enterprise data platforms
  • Experience producing architecture artifacts, technical specifications, test plans, or executive briefings
