Full Job Description
Amazon Web Services' Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the world's premier cloud computing platform. We are looking for a candidate with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain experience capable of operating independently in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment. Our Networking New Product Introduction (NPI) team in Supply Chain partners with our engineering and capacity deployment teams, suppliers and data center operations to launch new products to support AWS Networking's product launch plans. They are also responsible for integrating across supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risk for excess and obsolete materials. Executes strategic plans that improve service, productivity and quality, and that align to the overall organization vision. Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the direction of the supply chain activities. Prepare and provide detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on new product launches. Drive strategic BOM reviews to ensure multi-sourcing of critical components and timely qualifications. Drive strategic inventory of long-lead, unique materials in a timely manner to ensure successful launch and post-launch scaling. Develop and implement systems of accountability to ensure ongoing, measurable performance improvement. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
