Job Summary:

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager in Pomona, Missouri, you will play a key role in driving end to end planning activities that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll lead demand and supply planning processes, collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and logistics teams, and ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You will develop, implement and support processes and practices for ensuring a plan for every part and appropriate and timely stock levels of materials, components and equipment needed to manufacture and deliver products, supporting one or more large facilities. You'll use data and insights to balance demand, optimize inventory, and support production goals, all while building strong partnerships across the business. What You Will Do:
  • Lead end-to-end demand and supply planning processes to support production and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including operations, procurement, and logistics to align priorities and execution
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasting and planning models to drive inventory optimization and service levels
  • Monitor and manage inventory performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions to avoid shortages or excess
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, systems, and data accuracy
  • Analyze data and key metrics to support decision making and business planning
  • Lead and develop a team, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on production schedules, material availability, and capacity planning
  • Support business goals by balancing cost, service, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinating with sales, manufacturing and suppliers on short and long-term production forecasts and expected deliverables.
  • Managing relationships with internal customers, coordinating and integrating planning processes.
  • Developing and continuously improving the accuracy of logistical needs, including warehouse capacity, equipment needs and resource needs.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and monitoring logistical processes and dependencies.


Education requirement:
  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through extensive professional expertise.

  • Skilled in developing reports and dashboards that support operational and strategic objectives.


Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP):
  • Working knowledge of distribution and replenishment planning processes across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance customer demand, inventory levels, and service requirements.
  • Ability to identify risks related to inventory shortages, transportation constraints, and supply disruptions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with operations, warehousing, and logistics teams to optimize product flow.
  • Knowledge of DRP principles and inventory deployment strategies that improve network performance.


Effective Communication:
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate supply chain priorities, risks, and recommendations effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planning activities and business objectives.
  • Proficiency in presenting data, insights, and performance metrics to stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Skilled in facilitating discussions and driving resolution of supply chain challenges.
  • Ability to build strong relationships through proactive and professional communication.


Inventory Management - Manufacturing:
  • Working knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment strategies, and inventory control processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize inventory levels while supporting service and production requirements.
  • Proven ability to reduce excess inventory and mitigate stockout risks through effective planning.
  • Ability to establish and manage inventory targets, safety stock levels, and replenishment parameters.
  • Proficiency in analyzing inventory performance metrics to drive operational improvements.


Process Improvement:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to improve supply chain and planning processes.
  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and operational best practices.
  • Ability to use performance metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and identify improvements.
  • Proven ability to implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and service performance.
  • Skilled in collaborating across functions to support sustainable business improvements.


Supplier Management - Manufacturing:
  • Working knowledge of supplier collaboration and material planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor supplier performance and address supply-related issues.
  • Ability to partner with suppliers and procurement teams to mitigate supply risks.
  • Proven ability to support forecast reviews, shortage management, and recovery planning activities.

Supply Chain Management - Manufacturing:

  • Proven ability to analyze supply chain performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to coordinate planning activities across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution functions.
  • Knowledge of supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, reliability, and customer service.

This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Pomona, MO office.

Summary Pay Range:

$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
