    Primary Responsibilities

    The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply planning process for imported products, ensuring the right inventory is available at the right time to meet customer demand. This role oversees supply chain activities from international suppliers through inbound logistics, warehouse inventory management, and final fulfillment to customers. The Supply Planner works cross-functionally with sales, category management, logistics, warehouse operations, customer service, and suppliers to optimize inventory levels, maintain product availability, and improve supply chain efficiency.     Essential Functions

    Essential Functions:

    · Develop and maintain supply plans to support customer demand while optimizing inventory investment.

    · Responsible for Purchase Order placement, Order Management, and Inventory Health

    · Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment requirements across warehouses.

    · Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into procurement and replenishment plans.

    · Identify and mitigate supply risks that may impact product availability.

    · Coordinate with international suppliers to ensure timely production and shipment of products.

    · Maintain visibility of inbound shipments and proactively communicate potential disruptions.

    · Coordinate product receiving schedules with warehouse operations.

    · Monitor warehouse inventory health, aging stock, and inventory accuracy.

    · Ensure product availability to support customer orders and service level targets.

    · Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to prioritize customer requirements.

    · Monitor order fulfillment performance and identify opportunities to improve service levels.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    • Minimum Requirements:

      • 2-4 years of related Supply Chain experience preferred.
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
      • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts, Purchasing, Inventory Management, and their application
      • Experience with ERP, MRP, or Supply Chain planning systems.

      Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

      • Experience with Advanced Planning Software packages like Manhattan, Power BI, Aptean
      • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
      • Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply planning methodologies.
      • A team player with a roll up your sleeves attitude and high sense of urgency.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
      • Understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and import processes.
      • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
      • Food industry experience in a similar Supply Chain role is preferred.
