Logoplaste is seeking to recruit a
Supply Chain Manager to join the plant team in Inwood, WV (USA).
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of raw material purchasing, production scheduling and warehousing functions, ensuring that all procedures are properly utilized.
Key Tasks & Activities... - Forecasting, planning and scheduling of production.
- Tracking and ordering of raw materials.
- Supervising all warehousing and distribution operations.
- Comply with all governmental and company safety and logistics laws, ordinances and procedures.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring procedures and protocols.
- Control accuracy of inventory levels by conducting physical counts, reconciling with data storage systems and conducting root cause analysis for variations. Enacting new procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Achieve financial objectives by managing expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
- Define clear objectives for team.
- Maintain warehouse staff results by selecting, training, coaching/counselling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending continued educational opportunities
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Background and Experience - Degree in related field or equivalent 5 years experience
- Analytical and reporting skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Attention to detail and organization; ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel. Working knowledge of SAP inventory module.
