What you'll do...

The Supply Chain Manager, Electronics, plays a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic global supply chain and sourcing initiatives for a critical portfolio of materials, components, and services within Vehicle Controls. This position demands a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership capabilities, a proven track record in managing complex projects across diverse internal teams and external partners, and an unwavering commitment to driving significant transformational change within our supply chain.

Develop and execute global supply chain and sourcing strategies for vehicle electronics, leveraging competitive bidding, cost analytics, complex negotiations, and strategic contracting to maximize value and competitiveness.

Manage total cost of ownership, quality, delivery, and supplier performance across critical commodities and programs, establishing KPIs and leading Supplier Business Unit Reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and other stakeholders to align evolving requirements and deliver innovative, end-to-end sourcing solutions.

Develop and implement advanced cost models, negotiation frameworks, and commercial strategies, including long-term agreements, to achieve cost savings and align supplier partnerships with Ford's strategic objectives.

Build and manage strategic global supplier relationships, including supplier onboarding, performance management, risk mitigation, issue resolution, innovation, and responsible purchasing practices.

Monitor global market trends, technology shifts, and material indices to identify cost-reduction and innovation opportunities while leading supply chain transformation initiatives and optimizing budgets and resources

You'll Have
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
* 5-8 years of progressive experience in purchasing, supply chain management, or commodity management, with a proven track record of leading complex negotiations, driving innovation, and managing critical projects.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, diverse materials, and end-to-end global supply chain dynamics, including emerging technologies.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost analysis, business case development, and data-driven decision making.
* Proficiency in advanced analytics platforms, strategic sourcing software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

* Experience in Production Purchasing, particularly with electrical components.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
