This role offers broad exposure across development and production activities and is well suited to someone motivated to take ownership and build their career in a fast-paced technical environment.What You'll Do- Act as the primary liaison between external manufacturers, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.
- Build and manage strong working relationships with suppliers supporting prototype and production programs.
- Manage production-level purchase agreements and support supplier contract activities.
- Drive technical sourcing by partnering with engineering teams to identify new manufacturing partners and suppliers in support of product development goals.
- Lead qualification of new suppliers to ensure reliability, capability, and production readiness.
- Lead bill of materials (BOM) costing activities across development and production programs.
- Provide production and development inputs to support financial forecasting and cash flow planning.
- Manage lifecycle status of bill of materials components, identifying risks such as shortages or obsolescence.
- Work closely with the Project Management team to incorporate supplier lead times and capacity into project timelines.
- Coordinate supplier NDAs and support secure transfer of engineering documentation.
- Support purchasing and procurement activities across development and production.
- Partner with the Production team to support inventory management processes and materials readiness.
What You'll Need to Succeed- Degree in Engineering, Supply chain management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, project management or operations environments.
- Experience working in hardware manufacturing or startup environments is an asset.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively and across engineering teams and technical vendors.
- A proactive mindset that looks ahead, identifies risks early, and keeps work moving.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and find practical solutions when plans shift.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
