Job Description:

As a Supply Chain Management Operations Analyst supporting the Center of Excellence (COE) Team, you'll help deliver, support, and enhance the technology solutions that power Supply Chain Management operations across Southwest. You'll provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms including Coupa, Ironclad, and SAP, while partnering with Customers to troubleshoot issues, respond to inquiries, and drive continuous system improvements. You'll lead and support enhancements, perform system administration activities, manage technical and functional documentation, coordinate data and information requirements, and help ensure projects and technology initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Create content and conducts training to help lead resolution of customer service issues by explaining logic, processes, and procedures
  • Mentor both SCM Team Members and end users on functionality and capabilities of SCM Source-To-Pay systems
  • Partner with the Technology Team members, on behalf of the SCM Business, to provide advice and leads focused SCM projects including process improvement or Source-To-Pay system enhancements
  • Perform operational change activities, including user acceptance testing; execution and analysis; documentation; post implementation monitoring and support
  • Identify and implement Source-To-Pay initiatives or projects that reduce costs and promote efficiencies, and improve Customer value
  • Maintain working knowledge of administrative functions of all SCM Systems and performs systems administration activities and supports projects as a subject matter expert with an understanding of the system functionality
  • Proactively collaborates with Internal Customers to assess pain points and develop solutions to improve capabilities
  • Drive change management to increase purchase order spend and minimize non-PO activity
  • Experiment to find new solutions & identifies and creates the processes necessary to complete low-complex tasks including system improvements
  • Supports projects as a subject matter expert with an understanding of the implications of the system functionality
  • Provide support in-person, via telephone or email messaging to all end users of Supply Chain Management systems and processes and enters tickets into issue tracking tool
  • Support Sarbanes Oxley initiatives through routine control checks
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of S2P Enterprise systems and third party application development platforms with integrations or dependencies on both existing and planned SCM systems, policies and procedures to automate business solutions
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft products, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services including Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of Customer satisfaction
  • Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, which does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
  • Expresses ideas as well as business and/or technical requirements clearly and concisely in writing using appropriate levels of summary and synthesis.
  • Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)


Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree


Experience
  • Intermediate-level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
    • Procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or enterprise systems administration
    • Leading small-scale systems or process enhancement projects
  • Preferred: Project management experience
  • Preferred: Source-to-pay functional knowledge
  • Preferred: Coupa experience
  • Preferred: SAP experience
  • Preferred: Ironclad experience


Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay & Benefits
  • Competitive market salary from $77,200.00 per year to $85,800.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
