Full Job Description
Position Summary:

The Supply Chain and Logistics Director provides leadership and strategic direction for TH Foods' end-to-end supply chain operations. This role oversees four core areas of the business: Supply and Demand Planning, Sourcing, Warehouse and Inventory, and Customer Service.

Essential Duties and Requirements include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Lead and continuously improve the supply chain function across four primary areas: Supply and Demand Planning, Sourcing, Warehouse and Inventory, and Customer Service.
  • Identify opportunities for digital transformation and automation of tasks across planning, warehouse, and purchasing/sourcing
  • Serve as a key cross-functional leader, working closely with Sales and Operations to align demand, supply, production capacity, inventory levels, service goals, and customer expectations.
  • Own and advance the company's SIOP/S&OP process, ensuring clear communication, timely decisions, and alignment across Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
  • Partner with Operations to support production planning, material availability, schedule execution, inventory flow, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Service to support customer commitments, forecast accuracy, order fulfillment, service levels, and proactive communication.
  • Develop supply chain strategies that support business growth, cost management, customer service, inventory health, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, inventory levels, supplier performance, material availability, service levels, warehouse performance, and customer fulfillment.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues with urgency, including supply shortages, demand changes, production disruptions, customer service risks, and inventory imbalances.
  • Provide oversight for warehouse and inventory management, including inventory accuracy, material flow, space utilization, cycle counts, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Customer Service processes support timely order fulfillment, customer communication, issue resolution, and a high-quality customer experience.
  • Identify and implement process, system, and organizational improvements that strengthen the overall supply chain and improve cross-functional execution.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, performance feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Participate as a member of the management team and contribute to strategic and tactical business planning.
  • Promote food safety, employee safety, quality, and compliance throughout the supply chain organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  • 10+ years of relevant supply chain and logistics experience with 7+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Background in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with system selection and implementation (ie Advanced Planning, forecasting and WMS)
  • Strong working knowledge of SIOP/S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, sourcing, warehousing, customer service, and logistics.
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Operations to align forecasts, production plans, inventory strategy, and customer service expectations.
  • Experience with ERP, planning, warehouse, or transportation systems preferred.
  • Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or similar are preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead change, gain consensus, develop staff and continuously improve.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills are essential

Language Skills

This position requires the ability to read, write and speak English in order to: read requests for proposals; contracts, correspond and communicate with current and prospective customers, employees, auditors and make presentations when required.

Mathematical Skills

Mental ability is required to complete business required math and formulas, ability to manage all data processing needs of the company, ability to maintain self-control during high degree of stress periods such as taxes and year end statements.
