Full Job Description
Midwest Veterinary Supply is hiring a Supply Chain Budgeting & Forecasting Manager. This role will be hybrid out of our Lakeville, MN Corporate office.

This role leads financial planning, forecasting, and inventory budgeting across warehouse and supply chain operations. This position is responsible for developing annual budgets, managing open-to-buy plans, driving accurate category and item-level forecasts, and ensuring the integrity of item master data. Through deep analysis and performance measurement, the manager identifies risks, opportunities, and efficiencies that support operational excellence and the organization's fiscal health.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Budgeting
  • Develop annual budgets for warehouse and supply chain expense accounts
  • Lead Inventory and Open to Buy Planning to support financial and operational goals
  • Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions

Forecasting
  • Own Category, Vendor, and Item level forecasting
  • Measure forecast accuracy while continuously refining forecast models
  • Partner with vendors, inventory, and operations teams to incorporate market trends and demand signals.

Inventory Financial Management
  • Reporting and analysis of inventory health
  • Identify risks and opportunities within inventory and supply chain
  • Provide reporting and insights that guide replenishment and operational decisions.

Data Accuracy and Governance
  • Oversee item master data, ensuring accuracy of attributes, costs, and inputs.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational data standards.
  • Ensure forecasts, item costs, and financial inputs are accurate and up to date
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Up to 3 direct reports
