You Are

A supply chain and operations leader with deep experience in warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, and logistics environments. You bring a strong foundation in operational performance improvement, process and facility design and performance management programs, with the ability to connect frontline process details to measurable business outcomes. You are a trusted advisor who can build strong client relationships from the floor to executive leadership. You are comfortable leading multiple projects, managing teams, navigating ambiguity, and driving alignment across operations, engineering, HR, technology, finance, and senior leadership stakeholders. You balance technical depth with client leadership, change management expertise, and business development, leading teams through analysis and implementation while helping clients sustain results and identify new opportunities for value creation.

 

The Work

Engineering & Operational Excellence

  • Lead the design and implementation of operations improvement and performance management programs across distribution, fulfillment, warehousing, manufacturing, andlogisticsoperations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in engineered labor standards, work measurement, time studies, incentive design, labor planning, productivity improvement, and operational performance management.

  • Analyze operational processes across inbound, outbound, inventory control, transportation, and support functions toidentifyefficiency, service, quality, safety, and cost improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with clients to evaluate the processes, data, and technology ecosystems that support warehouse and workforce performance, including WMS, LMS, ERP, and operational reporting platforms.

Client & Engagement Leadership

  • Lead multiple client engagements, workstreams, or site implementations simultaneously, ensuring delivery quality, strong project financials, clear communication, and achievement of clientobjectives.

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders ranging from frontline supervisors and operations managers to directors, vice presidents, and executive leadership.

  • Translate operational findings and technical analysis into clear recommendations, business cases, prioritized implementation plans, and executive-level presentations.

  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, escalations, team priorities, staffing needs, and stakeholder expectations across complex client environments.

Change Management & Practice Growth

  • Develop change management, communication, training, and stabilization plans that drive adoption and long-term sustainability of new processes, labor standards, technology, automation, and performance management programs.

  • Lead cross-functional consulting teams, providing coaching, feedback, delegation, and career development support to analysts and consultants.

  • Support business development and practice growth through account expansion, solution development, proposals, statements of work, recruiting, training, methodology development, and knowledge sharing.

  • Develop junior staff in the consulting process through mentorship, intentional learning objectives, appropriate delegation, and regular feedback.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is required for this role and could vary up to 75%

Here019s What You Need

  • An undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business Management, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or significant equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing,logistics, industrial engineering, consulting, or operational improvement.
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex client engagements or operational improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with client or business leadership, including senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time, depending on project requirements, client needs, and business priorities.

 

Bonus Points If

  • Experience implementing performance management programs, engineered labor standards, labor management systems, workforce planning, or incentive programs.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Labor Management Systems (LMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, or related supply chain technologies.
  • Experience with network strategy software and/or 3PL selection and implementation
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
